It did for me.

For years I’d been bringing together groups of business owners in a Mastermind sort of fashion. I would organize all-day monthly meetings, bring in top flight speakers on business topics, and then facilitate open forum sessions around current challenges the group members were experiencing. In addition, I met with each member privately each month.

Not surprisingly, this involved a lot of time and a lot of travel. All of which began to take their toll on the enjoyment I was getting out of my work – and of my life. I knew if I wanted to put the joy back into things, I needed to gain perspective and find balance.
